Understanding Spectrum and Roadrunner
When Charter Communications acquired Time Warner Cable (TWC) and Bright House Networks, they rebranded as Spectrum. This meant that all Roadrunner email accounts (originally from TWC) were migrated to Spectrum's platform. However, your @roadrunner.com and @rr.com email addresses continue to work.
What Changed with Spectrum?
- Login Portal: You now log in through Spectrum's website instead of the old Roadrunner portal
- Account Management: Manage your email through your Spectrum account
- Support: Customer support is now provided by Spectrum
- Email Address: Your existing @roadrunner.com or @rr.com address remains unchanged
- Settings: Email server settings have been updated to Spectrum's servers
How to Access Your Roadrunner Email via Spectrum
Method 1: Webmail Access
- Go to spectrum.net
- Click "Sign In" in the top right corner
- Enter your Roadrunner email address (username@roadrunner.com)
- Enter your password
- Click "Sign In" to access your email

Your Email Address Still Works

Your Roadrunner email password is now managed through your Spectrum account. When you change your Spectrum password, it updates your Roadrunner email password as well.
Account Deactivation
If you cancel your Spectrum internet service, your Roadrunner email may eventually be deactivated. To keep your email, you may need to:
- Maintain an active Spectrum internet account
- Transfer to a paid email-only plan
- Export your emails and contacts before cancellation
